  I would like to give credit where credit is due but fn the case of John Jay Landscape Design, I cannot. What started out as a 6 figure landscape project at a private residence ended up being a nightmare. Some of the many projects were reasonably well done but due mostly to the skill of the labor force used NOT expert supervision.
  Management is inexperienced and ignorant, particularly Jason, the field supervisor. I had to completely remediate two of the projects as John Jay refused to take responsibility for botched construction. When we asked them to fix the problems,, they said that they would but charged us more than the original installation cost to do so. We finally threatened legal action and managed to recover some of our original costs.
  We have since hired a much better company to fix everything. In the process of deconstructing the amateurish water feature John Jay installed we discovered so many examples of shoddy workmanship it was shocking We are spending thousands more to set everything right again. John Jay really messed up. I would NOT recommend them to anyone as the best adjective i can find to describe them is bush league.
